Localization and Currency Settings

Localization tells Crafted Call where your organization operates. It sets the currency your calls are priced in, the timezone your deadlines resolve in, the units artists enter dimensions in, and the paper size your printed documents use. Set it before you publish your first call, because several of these choices are awkward to change later.

Where to find it

Go to Settings > Organization, stay on the Basic Info section, and scroll to Localization. The card is titled Localization and its subtitle reads "Units, regional preferences, and base currency for every call."

The six fields

Country. The country your organization operates from. This is the field everything else keys off. It also decides which tax profile and which address wording you get.

Locale. The language and region tag used to format dates, times, and numbers, for example en-AU or en-NZ.

Timezone. The timezone your organization runs on. Start typing and the field suggests matching timezones.

Paper size. A4 or Letter. This drives printed output such as labels and catalogs.

Measurement units. Imperial (inches) or Metric (centimeters). This controls whether artists enter artwork dimensions in inches or centimeters and how those dimensions are displayed everywhere in the app.

Base currency. The default currency for every new call. Eight are available: AED, AUD, CAD, CHF, EUR, GBP, NZD and USD.

Choose your settings and click Save localization.

Choosing a country fills in the rest

When you pick a country, Crafted Call fills in the locale, timezone, paper size, measurement units and base currency that usually go with it. Anything you have already typed by hand is left alone, so your own choices are never overwritten by a later country change.
