Set opening hours for each location, limit submissions per category, and design emails that match what you send

Opening hours now belong to each of your locations, with special days and popup dates, and your public pages show which location is open today. Calls can limit how many submissions one artist makes in each category, the email designer looks like the email you send, and subscriber imports show their progress. Renamed events keep their shared links, and event checkout, payment records and receipts are steadier.

Set opening hours for each of your locations

Opening hours now belong to each location: in Settings, Locations, link each place to its Google listing or type its weekly hours, and give a popup its own start and end dates. If you retire or archive your main location, another active location takes its place and your hours stay visible. Organizations with one location see no change.

LaunchedGallery admins

Add holiday closures and special hours by date

Each location can have special days, closed or with custom hours, for a single day or a range of dates. Special days take priority over the hours on your Google listing, so a holiday closure or a late opening shows correctly without editing your regular week. A note you add to a special day appears on your public pages.

LaunchedCall admins

Limit submissions per artist in each category of a call

You can set how many submissions one artist may make in each category of a call, on top of the call's own limit per artist. Set it on the category under the call's categories. An artist who reaches a category's limit is told which category is full before paying.

ExpandedGallery teams

Show visitors which location is open today

Your public pages name the locations that are open today, and your footer lists each location's address and regular weekly hours. Each location's day follows its own time zone, and a popup appears a week before it opens. A location with no hours set stays off your public hours.

ExpandedMarketing teams

Design emails that look like the email you send

The email designer shows blocks at the same spacing as the delivered message, without a box around every block. The outline and toolbar appear when you point at or select a block. Grab a block's handle to move it, drag a whole section by its handle, or drag a block from the left panel and drop it exactly between two blocks.

ExpandedMarketing teams

Import Mailchimp subscribers and watch the progress

Large subscriber imports run in steps and show progress as they go, so you can see a long list arriving. The Mailchimp tab maps Tags, City, State, Postal Code, Country and the subscribed and unsubscribed dates on its own. The Import button opens again as soon as you close the importer.

ExpandedEvent organizers

Rename an event and keep the links you already shared

When you rename an event, the address you already shared takes visitors to the event. Event checkout completes on its own after an interruption, with the ticket, receipt and confirmation email in place, and a buyer who starts checkout again keeps their place. A payment that arrives after a registration was cancelled is recorded and flagged for your staff to decide on. Event setup explains what an age limit asks of attendees at checkout.

QualityEveryone

Quality work across payments, receipts and digital artworks

The Fee Breakdown on the Payments page names each payment for what it was, and marking a payout paid a second time tells you it is already paid, and when. Receipts for storefront orders paid to your own Stripe account load, and digital artworks show their watermarked preview on public pages and stay hidden behind a placeholder while a preview is being prepared. Payment link emails keep their payment button and your note, decision letters pick up again when sending is interrupted, and imported members keep their sign-in when you change their email. Security and reliability improvements run throughout.

Preview letters, draft newsletters, and browse embedded works

You can preview Mixed Acceptance letters, keep the fees when saving a call template, and ask Frida to draft a newsletter from what is coming up at your gallery. Embedded galleries let visitors browse individual artworks without leaving your website. Checkout rechecks submissions before recording payment, the desk lists work an open show expects back, and personal image and profile permissions are clearer.

LaunchedMarketing teams

Ask Frida to draft your next newsletter

Ask Frida for a newsletter covering the coming days or weeks, and it draws from exhibitions on view, upcoming events and classes, and calls still open. It creates a draft for you to review and sends nothing on its own. If there is nothing to include, it tells you rather than creating an empty draft.

LaunchedExhibition teams

Browse artworks without leaving your website

Embedded galleries open individual exhibition artworks inside the frame, with their image, details, price and artist information. Visitors can inquire, browse the next work or return to all works without leaving your website. Buy opens the hosted artwork page in a new tab. Existing inventory item links keep opening in a new tab.

ExpandedCall admins

Preview the letter your artists will receive

You can preview the Mixed Acceptance letter before sending, and the letter editor opens on the template your call will actually use. Built-in decision letters now list each work on its own line, with warmer wording and show details in clear paragraphs. Your saved templates keep their precedence, and saving changes only the fields you edited.

ExpandedCall admins

Keep your fees when saving a call template

Save as Template keeps your fee model, prices, payment terms, member discount and sliding scale. The Fees step also loads and saves the discount and sliding scale, so you can reuse those choices for your next call.

NoteArtists

Review your image and profile drafting permission

Your personal image and profile setting is clearer about what it controls, including image descriptions, your Artist Site biography and profile analysis. If you previously turned it on, you need to turn it on again under the updated wording. Organizations you submit to can use drafting tools with submitted material for their own calls and shows, including catalog text and press releases, separately from that personal setting.

QualityArtists

Pay only for submissions that are still eligible

Resume Checkout and Finish payment check each submission again before opening payment. Withdrawn, archived, deleted or already-submitted work cannot be paid for, and a stale payment that goes through requests a refund for that work and explains why. When your gallery has no card on file to cover a platform charge, the call page and artist checkout explain who pays until a card is added.

QualityExhibition teams

Receive picked-up work an open show expects back

For work linked to a call, an early pickup while its show is still open returns it to the desk's expected list, even when the call has no end date. Staff can record it as dropped off again, and it stays hidden from the public exhibition until it is received. The exhibition banner names hidden works that are missing from the desk list so you can check their submissions.

QualityGallery admins

Save clearer text and keep pages usable

Names and titles keep their ampersands and quotes, and CSV imports reject overlong call and submission text before importing. Closing a dialog or menu restores page interaction when no other modal is open. Exhibition creation names accepted work omitted for missing images, failed catalogs explain why, and Works pagination returns visitors to the list.

Product announcement

Group each artist's results into one decision email, choose when followers hear about an exhibition, and charge entry fees on private calls

When you send a call's results together, each artist's entries in that send are grouped into one email, with a Mixed Acceptance letter when their results differ. You choose when followers are told about an exhibition, private calls can charge an entry fee, and new entry-fee checkouts no longer ask for a phone number. Payment totals name the dates they cover, and events, 1099s and images are steadier too.

LaunchedCall admins

Group each artist's results into one decision email

When you send a call's results together, each artist's entries in that send are grouped into one email. Matching results use their result letter; different results use the Mixed Acceptance letter, which lists what was accepted and what was not, then gives the drop-off and exhibition details once. Edit it beside your Accepted and Rejected emails, and wrap words in two asterisks to make them bold.

LaunchedExhibition teams

Choose when followers hear about an exhibition

Each exhibition now has a Follower announcement panel. Preview the email your followers will get, then send it now, schedule it for a date and time on your gallery's clock, reschedule it or cancel it. The panel shows delivery progress once it starts sending, and Frida can do the same for you.

ExpandedCall admins

Charge an entry fee on private, invite-only calls

A private call can now charge an entry fee, and invited artists pay it at checkout like any other call. Call pages list your requirements once, in full. When an artist reaches a call's limit, the page explains which saved drafts count toward it, and the limit is checked before checkout.

ExpandedArtists

Pay an entry fee without a phone number

New entry-fee checkouts no longer ask for a phone number. Artists fill in their card and billing details and pay, whether they check out from their cart or from a payment link you sent.

ExpandedGallery admins

See the dates behind your payment totals

Totals on the Payments and Bank Deposits pages now show the dates they cover, and submission fees appear under one name in the transaction breakdown. If your gallery takes payments in more than one currency, Finance Overview, donations and pending payouts total each currency separately, and invoices are labelled in your organization's currency.

NoteExhibition teams

Publishing an exhibition no longer emails followers

Publishing or opening an exhibition used to email your followers right away. Now nothing is sent until you approve it in the exhibition's Follower announcement panel. Existing exhibitions start Not scheduled, and no announcement is sent automatically.

QualityEveryone

Quality work across events, 1099s, images and settings

Event sessions show as full from their own seats, and volunteer waitlist promotions respect required waivers and filled roles. For US galleries, sending 1099s in bulk skips forms already sent. Older call posters and artwork images load again, switching organizations shows a loading screen until the new workspace is ready, and Preferred opening day is back in organization settings. Exhibitions can be deleted from the Danger Zone at any lifecycle stage when they have no held works, active checkouts, recorded sales or payout batches. Shows with sales or payout history remain available. This release also carries security and reliability improvements.

Product announcement

Collect details for each work-sample image, show jurors artists' answers, and see every sale in your finance reports

Calls that collect work samples can ask for a title, medium, size, year and price on each image, and jurors now see those details beside each artist's answers to your call's questions. You can choose where artists answer your questions, finance reports include every kind of sale net of refunds, and each artist gets their own 1099. Refunds, jury reviews, exhibition editing and checkout are steadier too.

LaunchedCall admins

Ask for a title and details on each work sample

Calls that collect work samples can now ask artists for a title, medium, size, year and price on each image. Turn it on in the call's Entry settings under Details for each image. Jurors see the details beside each image in review, meeting mode and the compare view, and staff see them in Quick View.

LaunchedJury teams

Show jurors the artist's answers to your questions

Jurors now see each artist's answers to your call's questions beside the artwork, in the review screen and the full-screen viewer. A proposal, statement or artist note is read alongside the work it describes.

ExpandedCall admins

Choose where artists answer your call's questions

Under Form & Questions, choose whether artists answer your questions on the same page as their work details or on a step of their own. Automatic keeps the layout your calls use today. Web addresses in a question's instructions are now clickable links for artists.

ExpandedGallery admins

See every sale and refund in your finance reports

Profit & Loss, Revenue Summary, Tax Summary and Cash Flow reports now include submission fees, donations, tickets and memberships, net of refunds, with refunds on their own line. Finance Overview totals and the Activity export count every transaction in the period, and the Sales Tax report counts charged orders and lists exempt sales separately.

ExpandedGallery admins

Send each artist their own 1099 form (US)

For US galleries, every artist on the 1099 page gets their own form, even when two artists share a last name. A row's Send sends only that artist's form and reports how many were sent, failed or skipped, and a row's Download opens the PDF.

NoteOrganization admins

Use a key with write access to automate changes

A personal API key created with read access only can view your organization's data but cannot make changes, such as creating webhooks or sending decision emails. To automate changes, create a key that includes write access for your organization.

QualityEveryone

Quality work across refunds, jury reviews and checkout

Cancelling a call or refunding a partly refunded submission returns the remaining balance, and artists who paid by cash or check are told you will return their fee. Jurors' votes and scores wait on the device until they send, and saving exhibition details keeps a colleague's changes to other fields. Artists who leave the payment page can cancel and change their cart right away, Frida reschedules events on your gallery's clock, and the Orders summary totals the organization you are viewing.

Product announcement

Pay for several works in one checkout, publish before adding a card, and announce calls on any plan

Artists entering several works on a call now pay once, with the platform charge per work and card fees charged once. You can publish a call before adding a card, announce it to your subscribers on any plan, and import your member roster with join and renewal dates. Plans switch on what they include, decision letters go out when you send them, and payouts, statements and labels agree with each other.

LaunchedCall admins

Publish a call before you add a card

You can publish a call without a card on file. Until you add one, your artists pay the platform charge at checkout, and the publish card says so plainly. Add a card at any time and new submissions go back to your organization paying.

LaunchedCall admins

Announce a call to your subscribers on any plan

Announce This Call now works on every plan, right from the call page. It emails the call to your own subscriber list with the same sender checks as the Marketing Hub, and Pay as you go includes up to 250 announcement emails a month.

ExpandedArtists

Pay for several works in one checkout

An artist entering several works on one call now pays once. The platform charge is per work and card fees are charged once, so three works on a free call cost US$3.40 at Pay as you go rates instead of US$1.34 each. Call pages show the total for one, two and three works, and a free call reads Free entry with the platform charge named.

ExpandedMembership admins

Import your member roster with join and renewal dates

Every plan that includes Memberships can import its member list from People or the Members page, keeping member-since and paid-through dates. You can add a member whose renewal is inside the 30-day grace, move an offline member onto a tier, and create priced tiers before Stripe is connected; online dues start once it is.

ExpandedGallery admins

Get the modules your plan includes, switched on

Buying or changing a plan now switches on the modules it includes, and a page that is only switched off says so with a Turn On button. Settings shows the right plan for every module, help says memberships come with Core, and new organizations get three times Frida's daily allowance for their first two weeks.

ExpandedCall admins

Send decision letters that say what they will do

Letters go out right after the 30-second undo window, keep the note you add, and include your call's drop-off window by default. New calls ask whether you are jurying, so a show where everyone who follows the guidelines is in sends Work Included letters. Staff with Programming access can now accept, decline and send letters too.

ExpandedCall admins

Accept up to 100 submissions per artist

A call can now take up to 100 submissions from each artist, up from 20, for shows where members bring a wall of work, a print bin and cards. The fee schedule lists the first ten totals and then the cap, so artists still see what they will pay.

QualityEveryone

Quality work across payouts, statements, labels and exhibitions

Quick Add creates the artist you name so their sale reaches payouts, and Monthly Statements and QuickBooks exports now match your orders. Labels print the year, clearing a call date removes it, and a live exhibition says when works are hidden until drop-off. iPhone photos have more time to convert, and visitors get right-sized images. Drop-off and pickup reminders to a large group send in full, and anyone you already reminded is skipped if you send again.

Product announcement

Comp artists by email, sell at the front desk, and see one owed-to-artists figure

A broad round of fixes from a review of every part of Crafted Call. Comp any artist by email, give volunteers a Front Desk role for check-in and the event door, and record desk sales with an Undo. Payouts, Finance and artist Earnings now agree on what you owe your artists, and events, volunteers, rentals, memberships and marketing email are steadier.

LaunchedGallery admins

Comp any artist by email

Give free submissions to anyone by typing their email address in Artist Credits. If they already have an account the credit lands right away and they are told; if not, it waits and is theirs when they first sign in with that address. Comps are limited to 20 an hour per organization.

LaunchedGallery admins

Run the front desk with its own role, sales and Undo

The Front Desk role lets a volunteer or staff member check work in and out, record a sale at the listed price, and run the event door, without seeing the rest of your admin. A mistaken check-in or pickup can be undone, and the work goes back to exactly where it was.

LaunchedExhibition teams

Put a QR code on your custom labels

Place a QR code anywhere on a custom label, size it from its corner, and preview the label as it prints in your chosen font. Each printed label's code opens that artwork's page, where a visitor can buy it.

ExpandedGallery admins

See one owed-to-artists figure everywhere

Artist Payouts, Commissions, the show report, Finance and each artist's Earnings now use the same figure, including works placed directly in a show. Record the date you paid by check, export QuickBooks journals that keep your Stripe transfers, and refund a submission fee with wording written for artists. If you sell work placed directly in a show, your Owed to Artists total is now higher than before; those sales are still paid from the exhibition's payouts.

ExpandedEveryone

Steadier submissions, events, rentals, memberships and calls

Add Another Submission keeps the work you just finished, and your dashboard offers Continue Submission on drafts. Choose whether an event asks for age and medical notes, and free events register without Stripe. Invite-only volunteer programs review Ask to Join requests, ending a lease cancels only future charges, and you can record dues paid by cash or check. Duplicating an older call gives it future dates, and you can change your web address or hand over ownership yourself.

ExpandedGallery admins

Marketing Hub sends reach exactly who you reviewed

The audience you review before sending now matches who receives it, honouring campaign type, engagement and each subscriber's topic and frequency choices. A send the server refuses says why, a bounce pause stops only newsletters and can be resumed from the hub, reports count unsubscribes and failures correctly, and automation steps never send an empty email.

ExpandedJury chairs and jurors

Run your jury from open to letters with fewer surprises

A round stays open while entries are still arriving, and moving the entry deadline moves the round with it. Letters wait for the date you promised, go one per artist listing every entry, and a bounced letter is flagged to resend. You're emailed when a juror declines, and jurors never lose a score saved offline.
