Openings, artist talks, workshops and classes all work the same way now: you register for the event on the gallery's own events page. What used to be a separate RSVP for a reception is a registration like any other, so there is one confirmation, one place to check, and one list the gallery works from at the door.
Finding events
Events belong to the gallery running them, so you browse them per gallery rather than in one global feed. Open the gallery's page on Crafted Call and go to its Events.
If you want their whole calendar in your own, use Subscribe to Calendar on that page. It gives you a feed you can add to Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook, and new events appear automatically.
Already enrolled in a class? My Classes in your dashboard lists what you are signed up for, and you can filter it by upcoming, in progress, completed or cancelled.
Registering
Open the event and use the form headed Register for this event, or Register for this class for a class or workshop.
For a normal event you set Tickets to how many places you want, including your own. For a class or workshop you list the people attending under Attendees, adding each one so they each get a seat. If the gallery has run classes for you before, you can pick a saved attendee instead of typing them again.
The button at the bottom tells you what happens next:
Register Now for a free event, which registers you immediately.
Continue to Payment for a paid one, which takes you to checkout.
Select a ticket tier if the event has more than one price and you have not chosen yet.
Join waitlist if it is full.
Sold out if there is no waitlist either.
If the gallery offers a member price, an early bird price or a promo code, they apply during registration.
Once you have paid, the page confirms you are registered and payment was received, and offers Add to Calendar so the date goes straight into your calendar. Your receipt and confirmation follow by email.
Your confirmation email
The confirmation arrives with the subject You're confirmed for and the event name, unless the gallery has written its own. It is worth keeping, because it carries:
A QR code to be scanned at the door. Have it open on your phone when you arrive.

The date, time, venue and a map link.
Anything the gallery added: what to bring, when to arrive, where to park, and any notes from the organizer.
If nothing arrives, check your spam folder first, then contact the gallery.
You will also hear from them if anything changes. A rescheduled event emails you the new dates with a way to request a refund. A cancelled event emails you too.
If the event is full
Choose Join waitlist and you are told your position, for example that you are on the waitlist at number three. If a place opens, the gallery emails you an offer to claim it, and that offer expires after a set time, so open it promptly.
While you are waiting, the page shows You are on the waitlist with the address they will contact, and Leave Waitlist if your plans change. Use it rather than leaving a dead entry ahead of someone who could go.
Changing or cancelling
You can leave a waitlist yourself at any time.
A confirmed registration is cancelled by the gallery, not from your side. Contact them as early as you can and they will cancel it and issue a refund if one is due. The same applies to changing how many places you booked: ask the gallery rather than booking a second time.
Tell them early. A place you cannot use is a place someone else could have had, and galleries plan catering and seating from these numbers.
Bringing people with you
Set Tickets to the total number of places you need. For a class or workshop, add each attendee by name so each of them is on the roster. Some events limit how many places one person can take, and the form tells you if that is the case.
Registration closing
An event that has already happened says so: registration is closed because the event has ended. An event that has sold out shows the waitlist instead. If you are looking at a listing with no form at all, the gallery has not opened registration yet.
Attending
If it is an opening reception, expect a couple of hours in the early evening, light refreshments, and the chance to see the show alongside gallery staff, other artists and collectors. Bring the QR code from your confirmation email. Dress is usually casual or business casual, and the gallery will say if it is not.
Troubleshooting
I registered but no confirmation arrived. Wait a few minutes, then check spam. If it still has not come, contact the gallery, because they can see your registration.
I cannot find the RSVP button. Receptions use the same registration form as everything else. Look for Register for this event on the event page.
I need to change my guest count. Ask the gallery. Registering a second time creates a second booking.
The event is not in my calendar. Use Add to Calendar on the confirmation page, or subscribe to the gallery's calendar feed to get everything they run.
