Mosaic Art Collective is a nonprofit gallery and creative community in Manchester, New Hampshire, dedicated to nurturing the artistic spirit at every stage. Our mission is to support artists, makers, musicians, and writers of all levels by providing affordable studio space, inspiring gallery shows, hands-on workshops, classes, and open community events. What makes Mosaic unique is our commitment to authenticity, inclusivity, and community. We intentionally create a space where people can “come as they are” and feel celebrated for their individuality, creativity, and background. Our programming is designed to be accessible, relevant, and meaningful — from workshops that inspire new skills to collaborative exhibitions and partnerships that strengthen the cultural fabric of Manchester. We are also deeply committed to adaptability and sustainability. By responding to the evolving needs of our community, stewarding our resources responsibly, and fostering a culture of continuous learning, we ensure Mosaic remains a vibrant and welcoming hub for creativity. At Mosaic, art is more than what hangs on the walls — it’s the people, connections, and shared experiences that bring it to life.

The Little Art Gallery was established in 1930 in a second-floor room of the North Canton Public Library, then located in a frame house on Main Street where the North Canton YMCA currently stands. The Hoover Company and two Hoover employees, Ellsworth Smith and Esta Stoner, were instrumental in the conception of the gallery. The Little Art Gallery’s permanent collection has grown to include more than 200 pieces. The gallery opens a new fine art exhibit every four to six weeks and provides free public art classes for students of all ages.
