Public Portfolio Page & Privacy Settings
Your public portfolio page is your personal gallery on Crafted Call — a shareable page where galleries, collectors, and other artists can view your work.
Setting Up Your Public Portfolio
Adding Portfolio Items
- Navigate to My Art > Portfolio from the sidebar
- Click Add Item to create a new portfolio entry
- Upload high-quality images of your artwork
- Fill in the details: title, medium, dimensions, year, and price
- Add a description that captures the essence of the piece
- Click Save
Each portfolio item serves as a canonical record of your artwork. When you submit to calls, you can reference portfolio items instead of re-uploading everything.
Organizing with Collections
Collections let you group related work together — by series, medium, theme, or exhibition.
- Go to My Art > Collections
- Click New Collection
- Give it a title and optional description
- Add items from your portfolio
- Set the display order by dragging items
Tip: Create a "Best Of" collection as your featured portfolio. Galleries often browse these to get a quick sense of your range.
Privacy Settings
Your portfolio offers several visibility levels:
Public
Anyone with the link can view your portfolio. It's also discoverable through your artist profile and gallery interactions.
Private
Only you can see your portfolio. Useful while you're still setting it up or curating.
Unlisted
Your portfolio won't appear in search or public listings, but anyone with the direct link can view it. Good for sharing selectively with specific galleries.
Password Protected
Visitors must enter a password to view your portfolio. Ideal for sharing work-in-progress or exclusive previews.
To change your privacy setting:
- Go to Portfolio Settings
- Select your preferred visibility level
- If password-protected, set your password
- Save changes
Sharing Your Portfolio
Once your portfolio is public or unlisted, you can share it using the portfolio URL. This link appears at the top of your portfolio page.
You can share it:
- In call submissions (some calls ask for portfolio links)
