For saleThe Waters of Life is a symbolic, representational triptych consisting of three canvas panels - each one representing a different stage of life. The total size of this painting is very large and measures 5’ x 10’ .The size can be seen in the photos of it, exhibited during my solo show. As an extension of my Inextricable Now theme, The Waters of Life has been embellished with more symbolic elements and added to over many years. With additions and changes over the years, this piece has become a chronicled history of my own life's changes as well as my painting career's themes. Currently it explores the profound, invisible networks that sustain existence. The artwork draws a conceptual parallel between the flow of vital waters and the subterranean networks of mycelium—both serving as symbols of absolute interconnectedness, shared intelligence, and mutual survival. Through this piece, I aim to visualize the unseen currents that bind us to the earth and to each other, emphasizing that our present moment is inextricably linked to the primordial, life-giving systems of the natural world." Just as mycelium binds the forest floor into a single, breathing entity, the fluid elements in this work visualize the unseen currents that link our individual human experiences to the broader ecological web. The Waters of Life serves as a reminder that we do not exist apart from nature, but are inextricably bound to its cyclical, regenerative currents right here, right now."
