Artist Resources

Understand jury selection, curatorial selection, blind review, conflicts, criteria, capacity, and the evidence behind a decision.

Write an accessible artist statement that explains the work, choices, and context without pretending there is one winning formula.

Separate who may enter, when intake occurs, and how selections are made across common exhibition models.

Create accurate, consistent artwork images, useful detail views, and files that survive call-specific crop and size requirements.

Understand fixed, rolling, application, invitational, and hybrid calls, including fees, eligibility, selection, and artist rights.

Prepare images and application text, check rights and fees, request accommodations, submit safely, and respond to late invitations.
