Understanding feature limits helps you choose the right plan.
Calls & Exhibitions
Number of active calls (open for submissions) or exhibitions simultaneously.
- Free: 1
- Starter: 3
- Growth+: Unlimited
Example: You can have 3 open calls during the application period, then close them and open 3 new ones. No limit on total created, only active at once.
Submissions
Maximum submissions your organization can receive in a year.
- Free: 25
- Starter: 500
- Growth: 2,000
- Professional+: Unlimited
Exceeded your limit? Upgrade and you gain access immediately.
Admin Accounts
Number of people on your team who can manage the platform.
- Free: 1
- Starter: 3
- Growth: 10
- Professional+: Unlimited
Each admin gets a login and can manage calls, submissions, payments, and team settings (depending on their role).
Jurors
Number of people who can review and rate submissions.
- Free: 1
- Starter: 5
- Growth: 20
- Professional+: Unlimited
Jurors view submissions, score them, and provide feedback. More jurors = faster review process for larger calls.
Membership Tiers
Number of different membership levels you can offer.
- Starter: 1 (e.g., only "Supporter")
- Growth: 5 (e.g., Supporter, Patron, Premier, plus 2 custom)
- Professional+: Unlimited
Each tier has different pricing and benefits (discounts, perks, access).
Storage
Total GB of file storage for images, PDFs, and documents.
- Free: 500 MB (0.5 GB)
- Starter: 5 GB
- Growth: 25 GB
- Professional: 100 GB
- Premier: Custom
Example: A 5 MB artwork image uses 5 MB of storage. A 500-submission call with 3 images each uses ~7.5 GB.
Tip: Full-quality images are recommended for galleries. Budget 5–10 MB per submission (multiple images).
Upgrading Your Plan
Upgrading is simple and takes effect immediately.
To upgrade:
- Go to Settings > Billing
- Click Upgrade Plan
- Select the new plan
- Review the price difference
- Choose billing cycle (monthly or annual)
- Click Confirm Upgrade
Prorating:
If you upgrade mid-month, the system prorates:
- New monthly fee: Adjusted for remaining days
- Credit applied: Any overpayment for the old plan
- Total billed: Difference only
Example: Upgrade from Starter ($29/month) to Growth ($79/month) on the 15th:
- Days remaining in month: ~15
- Upgrade cost: ~$25
- That amount is charged immediately; next full billing cycle resumes on schedule
Downgrading Your Plan
Downgrading is allowed but review the feature impact.
To downgrade:
- Go to Settings > Billing
- Click Change Plan
- Select the lower plan
- Review warning: "This plan limits features. See what you'll lose."
- Click Confirm Downgrade
Important notes:
- Downgrade takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle (not immediately)
- If you exceed limits, you'll be notified 30 days before the change
- Unused features are disabled but your data is preserved
- Example: Downgrade from Professional (unlimited calls) to Growth (unlimited calls) = no problem. Downgrade to Starter (3 calls) with 8 open calls = must close 5 calls first

Trial Periods
All plans above Free offer a 14-day free trial.
How trials work:
- Sign up for Starter, Growth, or Professional
- Full access for 14 days with no credit card required
- On day 14, you're asked to add payment info or stay on Free plan
- If you add payment info, paid plan begins
- If you don't, you're downgraded to Free
No hidden charges; trial is truly free and no credit card needed to start.
Payment & Billing
Your plan renews automatically on the same date each month or year.
Manage billing:

Invoices are sent to your organization email 7 days before renewal.

Troubleshooting
I'm near my submission limit. What happens?
- You'll receive a warning at 80% of your limit
- At 100%, no new submissions can be created
- Upgrade immediately to continue accepting submissions
- After upgrade, you gain additional allocation
Can I change my billing cycle mid-year?
- Yes. Change anytime in Settings > Billing > Change Plan
- The new cycle begins on your next renewal date
- No penalty for switching
What if I downgrade and lose features?
- Features are disabled at end of billing cycle
- Data is preserved (can be re-enabled by upgrading)
- Example: Downgrade from Growth to Starter, lose jurors
- If you upgrade back to Growth within 90 days, juror data is restored
How do I cancel my subscription?
- Go to Settings > Billing
- Click Cancel Subscription
- Confirm (you'll lose paid features at end of cycle)
- Plan downgrades to Free
No penalty; you can resubscribe anytime.
What's included in phone support?
- Professional plan: Email only
- Premier plan: 24-hour phone support during business hours
- For urgent issues, email support is fastest
