WomenWise
Equality then. Equality now.
A legacy of solidarity, self-determination, and the ongoing fight for justice
WomenWise was a pioneering health-based newspaper published from 1974 to 1994 by Equality Health Center, then known as the Concord Feminist Health Center. The community this publication cultivated serves as a powerful reminder of the importance of collective learning, mutual support, and shared power. With this exhibition, we seek to honor that legacy—reviving the rich history of the women’s movement and inviting you to illuminate a woman who has influenced your life or your art.
This exciting partnership exhibition between Mosaic Art Collective and Equality Health Center brings together art, history, and community to highlight the stories and strength of women across generations.
In celebration of Women’s History Month, both Mosaic and Equality Health Center, invite local artists to submit work for WomenWise. This open call welcomes original works in any medium that honor the strength, resilience, and beauty of all women—cis, queer, trans, and beyond.
Show us the stories, connections, and inspirations that shape your view of womanhood, empowerment, and community.
